This is the correct way to allow upper ball joint clearance on lowered vehicles without the need of cutting a huge hole in your strut tower

Shortened to your length of choice (35mm is most common)
Please note what length you decide
If choosing tilt option choose between 5-10*(degrees) for added negative camber

Plated & multi pass TIG welded for maximum strength
